Purpose Activities

Join daily briefings led by marine biologists covering reef ecology, responsible diving, and Project AWARE conservation principles before and during every trip.

All snorkel and dive guests

Includes rules on reef etiquette and conservation practices; participation is as part of any diving or snorkeling trip.

How to Join:

Simply arrive for your scheduled trip.

  1. Go to the main desk at ABC Reef Safaris on your booking day.
  2. Arrive at least 30 mins before departure.
  3. Participate in the mandatory pre-departure briefing with your guide.

Small-group boat trips to exclusive and varied Outer Reef sites, led by marine biologists, with a focus on low-impact practices and frequent site rotation.

Training Courses

Complete range of PADI courses from beginner to Instructor, utilizing both on-site training pool and the real-world environment of the Great Barrier Reef.

Accommodation

No on-site accommodation; guests typically stay in nearby Port Douglas hotels or holiday apartments.
