1. What DivePurpose Is (and Isnt)

DivePurpose is an informational directory and communication facilitator run by Livesysx OU (Estonia) on behalf of the project creator until a separate legal entity is formed.

We do not organize trips, provide professional dive instruction, or operate any of the listed dive centers. Any bookings, certifications, safety decisions, or dive-related actions remain between you and the dive operator.

We help divers discover:

• conservation-focused dive centers
• citizen-science programs
• reef restoration opportunities
• community clean-ups
• purpose-driven underwater experiences

2. Accuracy of Information

We research and verify listings to the best of our ability, yet we cannot guarantee completeness or ongoing correctness. DivePurpose provides all listings on an as-is basis without warranties.

Always confirm schedules, pricing, safety standards, certification requirements, and operator legitimacy directly with the dive center before committing.

We cannot warrant:

• schedules or availability
• pricing or currency accuracy
• safety standards
• certification requirements
• the legitimacy or conduct of operators

3. No Liability

By using DivePurpose, you agree that we are not liable for:

• injuries, accidents, or harm related to diving or travel
• equipment failures
• environmental risks
• cancellation or non-response by dive centers
• misconduct of operators or third parties
• delays, losses, or damages of any kind

Diving carries inherent risks.

You are solely responsible for evaluating your fitness, training, and safety.

DivePurpose does not offer professional dive advice, guidance, or instruction.

We are not certified instructors and do not provide certifications.

4. How Bookings and Messages Work

When you submit a booking or inquiry on a DivePurpose listing:

• We forward your message to the dive shop via email
• We store a copy of your submission
• We may contact you with confirmations or follow-up questions

We may also contact you with:

• occasional updates about your inquiry
• newsletters, new opportunities, or purpose-driven content

You can unsubscribe anytime.

We are not responsible for the dive shop's response times, pricing, or availability.

5. User Submissions and Permissions

Users cannot publicly post content on DivePurpose yet.

You may submit:

• new dive shops
• corrections
• suggestions

By doing so, you agree that:

• You grant us permission to review, edit, or decline submissions
• If you provide images/text from dive centers, you are responsible for ensuring you have the rights
• DivePurpose may use submitted content for listing purposes

We are not responsible for user-generated content on our Reddit community or external channels.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on DivePurpose — text, structure, listings, taxonomy, design, guides, and research — is owned by DivePurpose/Livesysx OÜ.

You may not:

• copy
• scrape
• reproduce
• mass-download
• mirror
• republish
• any part of DivePurpose without written permission

Reasonable quoting with attribution is allowed.

7. Data Collection and Privacy

DivePurpose collects:

• Name, email, and message content from inquiry forms
• Analytics data (page views, interactions, etc.)
• Cookies or similar technologies where applicable

We share it only when necessary to:

• forward your inquiry to a dive operator
• operate, maintain, or improve the platform

We do not sell personal data.

8. Payments and Monetization

DivePurpose currently does not charge divers for using the website.

We may earn revenue through:

• affiliate partnerships
• referral arrangements
• featured listings for operators
• donations/support from users
• future paid features

We reserve the right to introduce paid services in the future.

9. No Professional Relationship

Using DivePurpose does not create any:

• instructor/student relationship
• professional dive advisory relationship
• legal partnership
• agency relationship

We simply connect divers with opportunities.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia and applicable EU law. Any disputes fall under Estonian jurisdiction.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we update the Last updated date at the top. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated Terms.
