Purpose Activities

Join the team in collecting and cataloguing rubbish from Oliver’s Canyon and nearby sites, contributing to global marine debris data and directly improving the local reef.

Certified divers and non-divers interested in environmental cleanup.
Equipment provided: Debris Collection Bags, Gloves

Staff collect rubbish on every dive and beach interval; informal beachside education often follows.

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the dive center and ask to join the clean-up.

  1. Go to the main desk at Ahlan Aqaba Scuba Diving Center.
  2. Arrive at least 15 minutes before the planned survey (inquire at desk for latest schedule).
  3. Tell staff you want to join the Dive Against Debris activity.
