A dedicated PADI Green Star Award center with ongoing Dive Against Debris surveys and daily staff-led cleanups, integrating eco-actions and practical conservation into all aspects of its operation.

Purpose Activities

Join staff and divers in collecting and counting marine debris during regular dives at sites like Oliver’s Canyon, submitting bagged rubbish for survey and global reporting on ocean plastics.

Certified divers or those joining guided dives.
Required: Open Water certification (or diving with instructor)
Equipment provided: Mesh Bags, Tanks, Weights

Contributes directly to Project AWARE global data and local awareness; every dive can make a difference.

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the location.

  1. Go to the dive shop main desk.
  2. Arrive 15 mins before your scheduled dive.
  3. Tell staff you want to join the Dive Against Debris activity.

Daily boat trips to popular Aqaba sites, with marine debris collection encouraged every dive.

Training Courses

Full PADI course range from try dives to specialties and regular skills refreshers, including specialty courses focused on conservation and buoyancy.
