Purpose Activities

Seasonal hands-on opportunities focused on reef and fish population studies, lionfish control, and mangrove health. Assist ongoing science initiatives with Expedition Akumal and Operation Wallacea, including coral monitoring and invasive species management.

Volunteers and students, especially university students and those interested in marine conservation.
Required: Volunteer application (via partner organizations)
Required: Basic dive certification for some activities
Equipment provided: Boats, Tanks, Weights, Dive Guides

These projects usually require prior registration through program partner websites. There is no fixed price; donations, fees, or travel logistics may apply depending on the partner.
