About This Program

Ambassador Divers is an established dive operator offering the only PADI-certified lionfish culling course in the Cayman Islands, giving divers direct hands-on impact in controlling invasive species.

Purpose Activities

In one day, learn to safely hunt, spear, and handle invasive lionfish, starting with a classroom session and then practicing skills on two dives with an instructor. Boost your ecosystem impact and keep what you catch for local partner restaurants to prepare.

Certified divers wishing to become licensed for lionfish culling in the Cayman Islands.
Required: Minimum Open Water Diver certification
Required: PADI Medical form
Equipment provided: Culling Gear, Tanks, Weights
