Purpose Activities

Participate in the maintenance of the on-site coral nursery by cleaning and caring for coral fragments, helping them grow for future outplanting and reef restoration. Guests join under staff supervision and get firsthand experience with active coral gardening.

Diving guests and university groups; basic Open Water certification recommended
Required: Open Water certification recommended
Equipment provided: Tanks, Weights

How to Join:

Sign up at the dive shop on arrival.

  1. Go to the dive shop after check-in.
  2. Ask about upcoming coral maintenance dive dates.
  3. Provide proof of certification and join the activity briefing.

Fun Diving

Daily boat dives to Roatan's north and west reefs, with top-side service and sites along the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. House reef accessible for shore diving.

Training Courses

Full PADI range from Open Water to specialty, including professional courses and specialty certifications; on-site school and pool, internships in marine science available.

Accommodation

Waterfront and hillside bungalows are available on-site, with all-inclusive resort packages and direct access to the dive center and marine lab.
