Purpose Activities

This special liveaboard trip in the Galapagos is hosted by a leading whale shark researcher and focuses on big animal diving at Wolf and Darwin Islands during peak whale shark season. Participants join the team to learn and assist with ongoing whale shark and shark research, plus attend onboard workshops on marine life photography and data collection.

Experienced divers with Advanced certification and recent diving history.
Required: Advanced (PADI/NAUI/SSI) certification or equivalent
Required: 30+ logged dives
Required: Recent diving activity (within last 12 months)
Equipment provided: Tanks, Weights, Rental Dive Gear Available Onboard, Nitrox Available

Accommodation

Deluxe cabins provided onboard liveaboard yachts as part of expedition packages; land extensions and private arrangements possible before or after trips.
