Purpose Activities

This accredited program offers both classroom learning and field research focused on shark biology, ecology, and the role of sharks in Fijian culture. Students conduct hands-on studies of local shark populations while gaining real insight into conservation and protected areas management. If you aren't fully qualified yet, you can still sign up for it - we'll help find the right training pathway for your current skills.

Open to high school students or higher with interest in marine biology and conservation; basic water comfort required.
Equipment provided: Diving Gear, Tanks, Weights

Additional Offerings

Fun Diving

Daily excursions to the Shark Reef Marine Reserve for up-close encounters with up to eight shark species, plus coral and wreck dives around Beqa Lagoon using custom-built catamarans.

Training Courses

Comprehensive PADI training from Open Water up to professional levels, with a unique emphasis on shark biology and conservation; full training pool and in-depth workshops included.

Accommodation

Several partner lodges and resorts are within minutes of the dive center; free local shuttle available for guests.
