Purpose Activities

Guests can join coral restoration by maintaining coral frames, cleaning algae, photographing coral growth, or planting coral fragments under expert supervision on the House Reef. Activities support local community marine reserves and incorporate real conservation science.

Certified divers and snorkelers staying at the resort
Required: Basic swimming (snorkel) or dive certification
Equipment provided: Tanks, Weights, Coral Gardening Tools

These guest activities are integrated into the daily dive and snorkel schedule and supervised by in-house and partner NGO conservation staff.

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the dive center and express your interest.

  1. Go to the Beqa Lagoon Resort dive center front desk.
  2. Arrive before your scheduled in-water activity.
  3. Tell staff you'd like to participate in coral restoration activities.
  4. Follow the briefing and join the team on the House Reef.
