About This Program

Big Fish Diving partners onsite with the Marine Megafauna Foundation SEA to support and enable hands-on research and conservation of manta rays and whale sharks in the Coral Triangle.

Purpose Activities

Marine biologists from the Marine Megafauna Foundation SE Asia host free public talks every Tuesday and Thursday evening, plus documentary nights on Sundays. Topics focus on manta ray and whale shark conservation, marine research breakthroughs, and sustainable community engagement.

Open to all visitors, divers and non-divers.

Held at Yoga Shack Lembongan. Check at the center for current week’s schedule.

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the Yoga Shack on the advertised days.

  1. Go to the Yoga Shack Lembongan next to Big Fish Diving.
  2. Arrive a few minutes before the talk's start time.
  3. Ask any staff for directions to the public event area.

Additional Offerings

Fun Diving

Guided daily trips to Nusa Lembongan, Penida and Ceningan dive sites, including manta and mola mola spots, with small boat groups leaving from the main beach.

Training Courses

Complete PADI progression from Discover Scuba and Open Water up to Divemaster, plus specialties; practical training in a dedicated pool and at various reef and megafauna-rich sites.

Accommodation

On-site rooms at Secret Garden Bungalows, right next to the dive center, with easy beach and dive shop access.
