Purpose Activities

While participating in diving or snorkeling trips with Blue Dive, guests are instructed in sustainable practices and learn about ongoing reef health monitoring. Information is provided about citizen science initiatives such as Eye on the Reef, Reef Health Impact Surveys, and local conservation projects, empowering participants to become more knowledgeable ocean stewards during and after their visit.

All visiting divers and snorkelers; beginners welcome

This awareness program is integrated into all guided trips; actions are encouraged and explained by guides in situ.

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the dive center to join trips and receive guidance.

  1. Go to the Blue Dive main desk prior to your scheduled trip.
  2. Arrive 15 minutes before departure time.
  3. Let your guide know you’re interested in learning about reef monitoring and conservation.

Fun Diving

Private guided dives at Port Douglas' and Cairns' premier Great Barrier Reef sites, with small groups and the option for full private charters away from crowds.

Training Courses

Full PADI range taught privately, from Open Water through Advanced, Rescue, and Divemaster, with practical sessions on the stunning outer reefs.
