Purpose Activities

Join the Borneo Divers team on Mamutik Island for annual International and World Cleanup Day events, removing marine debris from the reefs and tidying the beaches with staff and community volunteers.

Open to both certified divers for underwater cleanups and non-divers for beach cleanups; children and families welcome for shore activities.
Equipment provided: Gloves, Mesh Bags, Tanks And Weights (For Divers)

All rubbish is weighed and reported; suitable for all ages and skill levels; safety briefing is provided at the start.

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the Mamutik Island dive center on the event day.

  1. Go to the Borneo Divers Dive Academy main desk on Mamutik Island.
  2. Arrive by 08:15 AM to join the 08:30 briefing.
  3. Mention you are here for the coastal/reef cleanup and follow staff guidance.

Additional Offerings

Fun Diving

Daily boat dives to Sipadan, Mabul, and Kapalai plus shore diving on the famous 'Paradise 2' House Reef at Mabul and guided trips within Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park at Mamutik.

Training Courses

Full range of PADI courses from beginner to professional with an in-house training pool and experienced instructors at both Mabul Resort and Mamutik Dive Academy.

Accommodation

On-site beachfront villas and chalets at Mabul Resort, and day facilities/boarding for divers at Mamutik Island; both provide direct access to dive operations.
