Purpose Activities

Join regular beach clean ups and community conservation workshops, where you'll help remove plastic waste, sort recyclables, and learn about marine debris impacts. Activities include sorting collected waste for upcycling projects like PlasTao, and are followed by open forums to discuss ocean conservation.

Open to everyone: divers, snorkelers, local community, and visitors (no experience required).
Equipment provided: Cleanup Materials

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the location.

  1. Go to the dive shop main desk in Tanote Bay.
  2. Arrive 15 minutes before the event start.
  3. Ask for the conservation event or cleanup crew.

Additional Offerings

Fun Diving

Daily guided dives by boat or from shore at Tanote Bay and surrounding Koh Tao reefs, using small groups and access to the local House Reef.

Training Courses

PADI training from absolute beginner to instructor level, with a specialty in conservation diving and eco-focused specialties; practice in on-site pool and ocean settings.

Accommodation

Buddha View Hostel offers on-site dorms and private rooms next to the center, plus partnerships with local hotels for a range of comfort options.
