A Florida Keys operator working hands-on with Mote Marine Labs and Reef Renewal USA to teach divers coral restoration skills and actively plant corals on local reefs.

Purpose Activities

Hosted by coral restoration leaders, these events let you learn, handle, and help fragment coral for the Keys' restoration—no diving experience required. Participants help propagate coral in guided, hands-on sessions.

Open to anyone interested, including non-divers.

Scheduled throughout the year; check for next event bookings.

Register via booking site or contact Captain Hook's to confirm event dates.

  3. Complete your registration to secure your spot.

Additional Offerings

Fun Diving

Daily guided boat trips and shore dives covering Looe Key, Marathon, Big Pine Key, and Key West reefs and wrecks, including signature Florida Keys sites.

Training Courses

Beginner through pro-level PADI and NAUI courses, including specialties in coral conservation and NAUI Coral Specialty, with dedicated instructors and pools for training.

Accommodation

No in-house lodging; divers can find a range of hotels and guesthouses within a short drive of all three Captain Hook’s locations.
