About This Program
Offers science-based dive training that enables recreational divers to actively contribute to coral reef monitoring through accredited programs in partnership with Reef Check Malaysia.
Purpose Activities
This training program teaches divers how to identify fish, invertebrates, and substrates, and use the official Reef Check methodology to assist with data collection on reefs as part of real survey teams. Training includes practical field and identification sessions so you can directly participate in monitoring trips and contribute actual data to scientific networks. If you aren't fully qualified yet, you can still sign up for it - we'll help find the right training pathway for your current skills.
Includes official Reef Check EcoDiver certificate and field guide. Enables you to join recognized Reef Check surveys worldwide.
