A Medes Islands-based dive center recognized for certified eco-sustainability and citizen science for monitoring dusky groupers.
Purpose Activities
Participate in ongoing research of dusky groupers by submitting underwater photos and basic sighting data. Results contribute to long-term population monitoring.
Your photos and info help update the live grouper database. Naming observed groupers is encouraged.
How to Join:
Simply arrive at the dive center and ask about the REX Project.
- Go to the dive shop main desk.
- Mention your interest in the REX Project and request the grouper photo submission guidelines.
- Bring your photo and observation details (date, site, depth, temperature) after your dive.
