Purpose Activities

Join the marine biologist and help collect and identify scale patterns of turtles or spot patterns of manta rays and whale sharks. Your contributions are shared with conservation groups to help monitor populations.

All guests interested in marine life observation.
Equipment provided: Slates For Data Collection, Snorkeling/Dive Gear As Needed

No prior experience required; guided by in-house marine biologist.

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the Dive Centre.

  1. Go to the Dive Centre on Finolhu Island.
  2. Ask for the marine biologist or conservation team.
  3. Mention your interest in participating in the Citizen Science program.

Fun Diving

Daily boat dives to iconic Baa Atoll sites like Rangali Caves, Fares, and Hanifaru Bay outskirts, plus easy access to the vibrant house reef directly from shore.

Training Courses

Full PADI training from first-time Discover Scuba through to Advanced specialties, with both lagoon and private pool facilities available; instruction in multiple languages by qualified instructors.

Accommodation

Luxury overwater and beach villas with private pools are on-site and integrated with the dive resort, with direct access to snorkeling and the Dive Centre.
