Purpose Activities

Join the Flores Diving Centre team to remove plastic and debris from the ocean during a guided dive or casual cleanup. As part of their non-profit eco-diving service, you can contribute directly to ocean health in Komodo by tackling the plastic crisis first-hand.

Any certified diver and interested guest.
Required: Open Water certification (for diving cleanup)
Required: None for basic beach cleanup
Equipment provided: Tanks, Weights, Cleanup Bags

This activity is aligned with their ongoing support for Trash Hero Komodo and further conservation partners.

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the dive centre and ask for the eco-dive.

  1. Go to the Flores Diving Centre main desk.
  2. Arrive by 7:30 AM to organize a spot with the team.
  3. Ask for the Eco-Dive or plastic cleanup coordinator.

Fun Diving

Daily boat trips explore famous Komodo National Park sites like Batu Bolong, Manta Point, and Crystal Rock, with sightings of mantas, sharks, turtles, and more.

Training Courses

PADI courses from Discover Scuba and Open Water to Rescue Diver and Divemaster, including private or small group instruction and an on-site classroom.

Accommodation

No on-site accommodation; guests arrange their own stays in Labuan Bajo close to the dive centre.
