About This Program

Located at the center of Italy’s first marine reserve, La Perla Nera Diving introduces divers to Ustica’s rich biodiversity and conservation education through specialty marine courses.

Education Practical

Purpose Activities

This course teaches divers how to remove marine litter safely and record data during a real underwater cleanup. Divers join a supervised cleanup dive and prepare debris surveys to be submitted to Project AWARE.

Open to certified Open Water divers aged 10 and up.
Required: Open Water Diver certification
Required: Minimum age: 10

Accommodation

No direct on-site accommodation, but local partner hotels and guesthouses are within walking distance from the dive center.
