About This Program
A 5-star PADI IDC center with an in-house marine biologist, focused on hands-on conservation, reef monitoring, scientific training, and regular cleanups in Bali’s Coral Triangle.
Purpose Activities
Join Legend Diving Penida’s Project AWARE underwater and beach cleanups. Divers and non-divers work together to remove marine debris from Nusa Penida’s reefs and shorelines, with education on best practices from staff and data reporting to global marine litter monitoring.
Sessions may include environmental talks and practical tips for ocean stewardship.
How to Join:
Simply arrive at the dive center.
- Go to the main desk at Legend Diving Penida.
- Arrive 15 minutes before the advertised cleanup start time.
- Ask any staff member about joining the Project AWARE cleanup activity.
Additional Offerings
Fun Diving
Daily boat trips to Nusa Penida's top sites like Manta Point, Crystal Bay, and the Marine Protected Area, with small group ratios and experienced guides.
Training Courses
All PADI levels from Open Water to Instructor, with in-house marine biologist-led specialties, pools for training, and specialty combos focusing on ecology and research.
Accommodation
Assistance provided with nearby partner guesthouses and homestays, all within walking distance of the dive center.
