Purpose Activities

A focused specialty course for divers to learn about the threats of lionfish, including how to find, report, and safely remove them from Cayman reefs using government-approved methods. Combines species knowledge and hands-on invasive removal skills essential for protecting local ecosystems.

Certified divers interested in invasive species control and local marine conservation.
Required: Open Water certification or higher
Equipment provided: Specialized Spear (Hawaiian Sling), Tanks, Weights
