Purpose Activities

Join local communities, divers, and volunteers to remove trash and debris from Mozambique’s beaches, learn about marine pollution, and help protect local marine life. Educational discussions on ocean plastic and sustainable waste management often follow cleanup sessions.

Open to all local residents, tourists, divers, and community members.

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the location.

  1. Go to the main desk at Maputo Dive Center.
  2. Arrive 15 minutes before the advertised cleanup time.
  3. Ask staff about the current or next scheduled beach cleanup event.

Additional Offerings

Fun Diving

Guided dives at Mozambique’s top dive sites, including Tofo and Ponta do Ouro, with options for local day trips and adventure diving packages.

Training Courses

All PADI courses from beginner up to pro level, with training conducted by local Mozambican instructors in both Maputo (pool) and Ponta do Ouro (open water).

Accommodation

Accommodation in Maputo is booked separately; partner guesthouses and local stays available in Ponta do Ouro for course or dive package guests.
