About This Program
Mozambican-owned and locally driven, Maputo Dive Center empowers communities through dive training, marine conservation, and hands-on environmental projects like beach cleanups.
Purpose Activities
Join local communities, volunteers, and divers to help remove trash and debris from Mozambique's beaches, preventing plastic pollution from entering the ocean and supporting marine life.
These cleanups also include short educational discussions about marine pollution and responsible waste management.
How to Join:
Simply arrive at the dive center and ask for cleanup details.
- Go to the main desk at Maputo Dive Center.
- Ask for details about the next scheduled beach cleanup.
- Arrive 15 minutes before the event to meet the group and receive instructions.

Year-round diving in Maputo and trips to Ponta do Ouro, with options for local boat and shore dives guided by Mozambican instructors.

Full PADI course range from Discover Scuba to Advanced specialties and pro-level, all with local instructors and both pool and ocean sessions.
