About This Program
A pioneer in marine conservation with in-house coral farms, extensive guest coral restoration education, and active community engagement across North Sulawesi.
Purpose Activities
Join staff and local conservation partners for regular house reef and beach cleanups, with activities ranging from removing debris to hands-on coral farm maintenance, weather and demand permitting.
Cleanup sessions often coincide with educational briefings on local conservation issues and practices.
How to Join:
Simply arrive at the dive center front desk to check for cleanup/reef activities.
- Go to the main desk at Murex Manado or Bangka.
- Ask about the week's scheduled cleanups or coral farm volunteering.
- Bring dive/snorkel certification if planning to join underwater activities.
Additional Offerings
Fun Diving
Guided trips to North Sulawesi’s top sites including Bunaken, Bangka, and Lembeh, with daily boat and house reef diving and guides trained in marine conservation.
Training Courses
Courses range from Open Water to advanced and specialty programs, with an on-site pool and full conservation curriculum featuring Ocean Gardener certification.
Accommodation
On-site beachfront bungalows at both Manado and Bangka, full board included, steps from the dive center and coral nurseries.
