About This Program
Ocean Encounters runs one of the Caribbean’s leading coral reef restoration programs, combining scientific outplanting with diver education and hands-on training.
Purpose Activities
Learn hands-on coral gardening and restoration techniques in both classroom and water sessions, including nursery maintenance, coral propagation, and outplanting restored corals onto the reef. Completing the course qualifies you to join the local volunteer network and get involved in ongoing restoration activities.
If you aren't fully qualified yet, you can still sign up for it - we'll help find the right training pathway for your current skills.
How to Join:
Confirm your spot directly with the Training Team.
