About This Program

Operator of Grand Cayman’s largest coral nursery restoration program, offering regular hands-on opportunities for divers to restore and monitor local reefs.

Purpose Activities

Start your hands-on coral restoration journey with a half-day class and dive: learn coral conservation basics, then practice at the nursery and help out-plant coral fragments onto local reefs.

Certified divers in the local community interested in coral conservation.
Required: Scuba certification
Required: Minimum age depends on local diving law
Equipment provided: Classroom Materials, Coral Nursery Tools, Boat Transport

After completion, you can join ongoing volunteer coral nursery dives and projects at no additional cost.

Sign up required via phone or email to reserve your spot.

  1. Contact Ocean Frontiers via phone (+1 345-947-0000) or email (reservations@oceanfrontiers.com) to express your interest.
  2. Book your space for the next scheduled Introduction & Dive (2nd Saturday each month).
  3. Arrive at the Compass Point Dive Resort by 9:00am on the course day.
