About This Program
A PADI Career Development Centre with a track record in community outreach, local partnerships, and the creation of unique Canadian marine specialty courses like Bioherm Sponge conservation diving.
Purpose Activities
Throughout the year, Ocean Quest hosts free guest speaker evenings, shore-based cleanups, and community marine events. Topics and schedules vary, and these events provide a direct way for divers and non-divers alike to get involved in local marine advocacy.

How to Join:
Simply arrive at the location.
- Check the Ocean Quest Community Events webpage for the upcoming date.
- Go to the announced venue or dive shop main desk.
- Arrive 15 minutes early and ask for the event crew.
Additional Offerings
Fun Diving
Regular guided shore dives at popular Vancouver and Howe Sound sites, plus weekly local trips.
Training Courses
Complete PADI training from entry through pro (Divemaster & Instructor), including technical and unique specialty courses in small class sizes.
Accommodation
No on-site lodging, but centrally located in Burnaby with easy access to metro Vancouver hotels.
