Purpose Activities

Join the Pirate Divers team in ongoing coastal and underwater cleanup efforts as part of their Adopt The Blue program at the Sand Pit site. Remove debris, collect data, and help preserve local reefs and beaches.

Certified divers of all experience levels visiting the dive center.
Required: Open Water certification (for underwater cleanups)
Required: Basic swimming for beach cleanups
Equipment provided: Tanks, Weights, Mesh Bags, Cleanup Tools

Guests are given cleanup briefings and equipment as needed. All waste sorted and disposed in line with Green Fins guidelines.

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the location.

  1. Go to the dive shop main desk.
  2. Let staff know you're interested in joining a cleanup.
  3. Arrive early to get geared up and join the crew heading to the site.

Additional Offerings

Fun Diving

Daily boat trips run to the Busuanga Bay wrecks and nearby reefs with surface intervals at quieter bays. All trips use mooring buoys to protect the coral. Small group sizes and a focus on responsible wreck and reef diving.

Training Courses

PADI courses from beginner to Divemaster, with specialties like Wreck, Deep, Nitrox, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and marine ecology briefings built into practical training sessions.

Accommodation

Diving guests can access partner accommodation at Busuanga Bay Lodge, located close to the dive center, or nearby local guesthouses by arrangement.
