Purpose Activities

Join the Pure Adventure team and local partners to remove beach and marine debris. Staff and volunteers regularly host and sponsor conservation cleanups, collecting trash while on tours or during dedicated events. Lionfish and ghost net removals sometimes occur during cleanup dives.

All ages; guests, locals, and students welcome.
Equipment provided: Cleanup Bags (NOT Plastic), Gloves

Partnered with PR Dept. of Natural Resources and NOAA. Cleanups are scheduled events—ask for latest dates.

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the location.

  1. Go to Pure Adventure's main desk at Roosevelt Roads Marina.
  2. Arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled cleanup.
  3. Ask for the cleanup event leader or crew.

Fun Diving

Daily boat and shore dives exploring Fajardo, Vieques, Culebra, and reefs around Roosevelt Roads—led by marine biologist guides and often off the beaten track.

Training Courses

Full PADI range from Open Water to Rescue, with marine biologist instructors and flexible schedules; eLearning options and full equipment included.

Accommodation

No on-site accommodation, but the center is near Ceiba and Fajardo with many local lodging options; marina location gives direct access to dive boats.
