Purpose Activities

Join the team and local partners to help remove plastics and debris from both the beach and surrounding ocean. Participants contribute directly to community conservation and can help sort and record waste for data purposes.

All certified divers and non-divers; all ages welcome.
Required: General fitness for beach or boat activity
Equipment provided: Cleanup Bags, Gloves, Dive Gear For Underwater Cleanup If Diving

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the dive shop.

  1. Go to the dive shop main desk.
  2. Arrive 15 mins early.
  3. Ask for the ocean or beach cleanup coordinator.

Additional Offerings

Fun Diving

Daily boat trips to the best dive sites in Playas del Coco, with excursions to Bat Islands for bull sharks and Catalinas for mantas; experienced guides for small groups.

Training Courses

Full range of PADI and SSI courses from beginner to instructor, including pool and ocean sessions and extensive conservation training pathways.

Accommodation

On-site and partner accommodation options including bungalows near the dive shop and intern apartments with pool and communal areas.
