A locally-managed club with a marine biologist owner, running hands-on artificial reef projects and weekly community education to sustain healthy reefs in Nosy Be.
Each week, Sakalav' Diving hosts discussions and workshops for local children and ecological associations, focusing on reef fragility, sustainable fishing, and environmental best practices. Sometimes these include hands-on field trips.
Engagement intended primarily for locals and ecological associations, but visiting divers can respectfully observe and may join at the discretion of the team.
How to Join:
Simply arrive at the dive center and ask about the weekly community meeting.
Guided dives to Nosy Be’s diverse volcanic, sedimentary, and artificial reef sites, including drift dives and macro-focused tours on Sakatia-facing reefs.
Certifications from beginner (Discover Scuba, N1, Open Water) to advanced (N2, Rescue, CMAS/NAUI/PADI) with experienced instructors and real-world marine biology integration.
Six spacious rooms with private bath and beach/sea views, located directly above the dive center for immediate access.
