Purpose Activities

Help monitor Moalboal's sea turtles by photographing individuals, noting unique markings, and submitting your images with encounter details. New turtles added to the catalogue receive names chosen by the contributor.

Any certified diver or snorkeler with a camera
Required: Ability to take clear turtle photos
Required: Date and dive/snorkel site info

Recognition is given to each contributor; your submission helps build a long-term dataset for conservation and research.

How to Join:

Simply arrive and join dives or snorkeling.

  1. Take clear photos of turtle faces during your dive or snorkel.
  2. Note the date and specific site of the encounter.
  3. After your dive, visit the dive center front desk to submit photos and details.
  4. Staff will help you log your sighting for the project.

Additional Offerings

Fun Diving

Daily diving at Panagsama House Reef, Talisay, Pescador Island, and Moalboal’s sardine run, with custom trips for advanced sites and regular encounters with turtles.

Training Courses

Extensive training from beginner (PADI Scuba Diver) to pro-level (Divemaster, Instructor Development, and TEC/TDI courses), featuring an on-site training pool and specialty conservation workshops.
