About This Program

A Blue Star-recognized center in Key Largo actively teaches and runs hands-on ocean conservation specialty courses and debris cleanups for divers.

Purpose Activities

Start with a classroom briefing on safe debris removal, then join a two-tank ocean dive to collect marine debris with instructors. Debris is identified, logged via an app, and you earn the official PADI Dive Against Debris Specialty rating.

Certified divers (Junior Open Water or higher), ages 12+ with excellent buoyancy skills.
Required: Junior Open Water Diver certification or higher
Required: Minimum age 12
Required: Excellent buoyancy (Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty if needed)
Equipment provided: Tanks, Weights

For $50 more, earn the PADI AWARE Specialty Diver certification on the same day (both count toward Master Scuba Diver rating). If you aren't fully qualified yet, you can still sign up for it - we'll help find the right training pathway for your current skills.
