About This Program

A resort-based conservation center with an in-house Reef Ambassador, coral nurseries, guest-involved coral restoration, and specialty courses fighting invasive lionfish.

Purpose Activities

Join the coral restoration ambassador and help with coral nursery maintenance or out-planting activities. Guests receive instruction and can participate directly in nurturing coral fragments and cleaning nursery structures, contributing to active reef regeneration.

Certifed divers and snorkelers; all experience levels
Required: Scuba certification (for divers)
Required: Basic swimming (for snorkelers)
Equipment provided: Tanks, Weights, Mask, Snorkel, Fins

All nursery activities are supervised for safety and guidance.

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the dive shop and ask about coral nursery volunteering.

  1. Go to the dive shop main desk.
  2. Let staff know you want to help with coral nursery volunteering.
  3. Arrive 15 minutes before your preferred time and bring your certification card (for diving).

Additional Offerings

Fun Diving

Guided shore and daily boat dives directly onto Anse Chastanet Reef, Turtle Reef, and other top Soufriere sites. Night dives during special coral spawning nights.

Training Courses

Full PADI course range including Open Water, Advanced, Rescue, Divemaster, and Instructor, plus unique reef restoration and lionfish control specialties. Dedicated on-site pool and ocean access.

Accommodation

On-site luxury rooms and bungalows at Anse Chastanet Resort, all meals included, located steps from the dive center and the beach.
