Purpose Activities

Join ScubaCaribe's official efforts with the National Park Authority to restore and clean local reefs, including coral nursery maintenance and occasional educational outreach. Activities may involve hands-on help depending on restoration needs, or supporting public awareness events.

Generally aimed at local/diver community and tourists; some Spanish/English and basic water skills may be helpful.

No fixed schedule; opportunities published on social media and by request at Cancun location.

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the Cancun (Riu Caribe hotel) base and ask about the latest Coribbean Reefs activities.

  1. Go to ScubaCaribe's main desk at Riu Caribe, Cancun.
  2. Ask for information about 'Coribbean Reefs Project'.
  3. Staff will inform you about current/upcoming volunteer chances or public events.

Additional Offerings

Fun Diving

Local and regional dives in Caribbean, Atlantic, Indian Ocean and Red Sea, with trips to shipwrecks, reefs, and select house reefs at major resort hotels.

Training Courses

Complete PADI offerings from beginner to professional (Instructor) across multiple countries, with access to digital learning and certified staff.

Most locations integrated within leading resort hotels like Riu; guests can book all-in-one stays with direct access to dive shops and beaches.
