About This Program

A large Okinawan dive center combining regular coral predator removals, community cleanups, and annual coral education, while offering SDGs-driven professional training.

Purpose Activities

A weekly community effort to pick up litter and debris around the Naha Port area, ongoing for over 15 years with the goal of protecting the local environment.

Open to all visitors and locals; families welcome
Equipment provided: Trash Bags, Gloves

Part of the BLUE SHIP clean ocean initiative.

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the dive shop main desk.

  1. Go to SEASIR Naha shop front desk.
  2. Arrive 15 minutes before the weekly cleanup time (contact staff for exact schedule).
  3. Ask for the port cleanup team and join the briefing.

Additional Offerings

Fun Diving

Daily boat trips to the Kerama Islands, with options for up to 4 dives a day and morning, afternoon, and specialty excursions targeting both macro and wide-angle sights.

Training Courses

Complete PADI course range up to Instructor, with environmental modules; sessions use an on-site pool and access to open water sites in the Kerama region.

Accommodation

On-site lodging in Naha and Aka Island shops, with easy access to dive boat departure points.
