About This Program

An eco-certified dive rig committed to regular underwater clean-ups tied to Project Aware, with guests encouraged to join hands-on debris removal dives.

Purpose Activities

Take part in a monthly underwater clean-up on Seaventures’ House Reef, recovering plastic and marine debris and gathering data for Project Aware. Participate directly during dive sessions, with free soft drinks awarded for collecting debris.

Certified divers staying/diving with Seaventures

Equipment provided: Mesh Bags, Tanks, Weights

Effort is tied to Project AWARE’s global survey. Contribute real data to marine science and conservation.

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the Seaventures Dive Rig on a clean-up day.

  1. Book a stay and dive package with Seaventures.
  2. Ask staff on arrival for the next scheduled House Reef clean-up dive.
  3. Bring your mesh bag (provided) and join the group on the main deck.
  4. Sign up the same day; arrive 15 minutes before the briefing.

Daily boat trips to Sipadan, Mabul, and Kapalai, with unlimited shore diving directly from the converted oil rig’s unique House Reef under the platform.

Training Courses

Full range of PADI courses from beginner to Instructor, including specialties and technical diving, with an on-site pool and direct ocean access.

Accommodation

On-site accommodation available on the rig itself, with restaurant, bar, and ocean views.
