Purpose Activities

Join the Sierra Madre Divers team and local community for hands-on beach and underwater cleanups at Alona Beach and nearby sites. Removed debris is sorted and tracked to help ongoing environmental data efforts.

All certified divers and members of the public; beginners may join for beach cleanups.
Equipment provided: Gloves, Mesh Bags, Basic Cleanup Gear

Ask in advance or upon arrival for the current week's cleanup schedule.

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the location.

  1. Go to the Sierra Madre Divers shop front desk.
  2. Arrive 15 mins early.
  3. Ask for the cleanup activity and join the team.

Additional Offerings

Fun Diving

Daily boat trips to Balicasag Island, Pamilacan, and local Panglao reefs, with experienced local guides and small-group dives at both famous and quiet sites.

Training Courses

Full PADI range from absolute beginner through Instructor (IDC), including specialty courses and pro-level internships, all led by a veteran Course Director and using an on-site pool.

Accommodation

On-site dorm accommodation available, right behind the dive center on Alona Beach, plus assistance for other local seaside lodgings.
