About This Program
SlyDive Dahab partners with a licensed marine biologist to run scientific reef monitoring and offers practical marine biology training through EcoPro Training Center collaborations.
Purpose Activities
Join periodic inspection dives, supervised by Dr. Ahmed Shawky (Reef Check trainer), to monitor and document coral reef health at Dahab sites. Collected data assists with ongoing reef protection through Reef Check Organization.
All survey data is officially submitted and helps guide local reef interventions.
How to Join:
Simply arrive at the location.
- Go to the dive shop main desk.
- Ask for details about the next Reef Check monitoring dive.
- Bring your certification card and arrive 15 mins early.
Additional Offerings
Fun Diving
Daily guided dives to Dahab’s top sites, including the Blue Hole, Canyon, and local reefs, with trips organized by van and by boat. Non-divers can join for snorkeling or day activities.
Training Courses
Full PADI and TDI course range from beginner to Divemaster, plus extensive specialty training and unique marine biology/eco courses in partnership with EcoPro and academic experts.
Accommodation
Partner hotels available nearby with daily transfer service; integrated packages upon request.
