About This Program
All Out Africa and Tofo Scuba combine marine research internship and Divemaster training, letting divers join ongoing megafauna science and qualify as professionals in one long-term program.
Purpose Activities
Spend two months as a research intern with All Out Africa Marine Research Centre, learning about local megafauna and actively contributing to citizen science and field surveys. After gaining marine research and foundational diving skills, transition into a month-long intensive Divemaster program with hands-on ocean work and real-world experience. If you aren't fully qualified yet, you can still sign up for it - we'll help find the right training pathway for your current skills.
Accommodation included for all three months; food is included during the research phase only.

Additional Offerings
Fun Diving
Boat dives to rich sites like Office Reef, known for manta cleaning stations, sharks, rays and a range of megafauna; recommended for experienced divers due to currents.
Training Courses
Full PADI course range from beginner Discover Scuba to professional Divemaster, with on-site heated training pool and extensive, well-maintained gear.
Accommodation
On-site bungalows and accommodation included as part of long-term training packages, right next to the dive center.
