About This Program

Restoration-centered, Trawangan Dive operates coral gardening and Biorock reef building programs linked with Gili Eco Trust, making it a hands-on option for divers who want to actively help reef recovery while training.

Purpose Activities

During this pro-level Divemaster course, you’ll become part of the day-to-day dive operation, help run courses, and lead dives, gaining leadership skills alongside practical knowledge about Indonesian reef ecology and Biorock restoration. You’ll also assist in coral gardening, survey methods, mapping dive sites, and participate in conservation programs tied to real restoration projects. If you aren't fully qualified yet, you can still sign up for it - we'll help find the right training pathway for your current skills.

18+ years with Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, current first aid/CPR, and minimum 40 logged dives to start (60 to certify).
Required: PADI Advanced Open Water
Required: PADI Rescue Diver
Required: EFR/first aid in last 24 months
Required: 40 dives to start, 60 for cert

Start whenever you want, flexible schedule, plenty of hands-on conservation elements. Some costs (materials, certification, park fee) are separate.
