Purpose Activities

Join the regular daily beach cleaning effort alongside staff and locals to keep Watamu’s beaches free from trash and plastic waste. Collected totals are displayed on a guest blackboard to spread awareness.

Open to all resort guests and members of the local community.
Equipment provided: Rubbish Bags, Gloves

Participation is encouraged for all ages and abilities.

How to Join:

Simply arrive at the resort beachfront.

  1. Go to the main beachfront area at Turtle Bay Beach Club.
  2. Look for staff or signage about daily clean-ups.
  3. Arrive a few minutes early and ask for beach cleanup supplies.
