About This Program
Turtle Inn Dive Shop combines attentive diving with environmental action, letting guests protect Belize's barrier reef by joining lionfish removal dives that end with a meal from the catch.
Purpose Activities
Join Turtle Inn and local volunteers in an annual Earth Day beach cleanup in Placencia. All collected garbage is weighed and results are shared. This event helps keep the local beaches and coastline free from litter and marine debris.
Participating helps demonstrate immediate conservation impact.
How to Join:
Simply arrive at the resort or specified beach location at the announced time.
- Check for Earth Day event details at the resort front desk.
- Go to the designated beach meeting point in Placencia.
- Arrive 15 minutes before start time and look for Turtle Inn staff leading the cleanup.

Daily guided boat dives to the Belize Barrier Reef and nearby cayes, led by experienced divemasters familiar with local conditions. Seasonal whale shark trips are available during the spring full moons.
